Downstream Project Executive Director (and Rotarian) Bill Howard invited Upper Potomac River Manager for the Potomac RIVERKEEPER, Brent Walls, to speak at the Shepherdstown, WV Rotary Club breakfast last week, where Brent announced the Water Reporter —a new iPhone and iPad app (Android coming soon) that lets you report pollution as soon as you see it.   The app automatically tags your location and sends your report (with photo) to one of the 18 Riverkeepers in the Chesapeake Bay region.  You can use the app to share good news too, like upcoming tree plantings, stream cleanups, that trophy fish, your favorite rope swing, and more.

Check out the Water Reporter at the Potomac and Shenandoah Riverkeeper website.
